Despite an irrational phobia of breaking through the ice, I followed Alex and Ryan onto the ice-fishing destination of Constance Lake. Ryan assured me that it was perfectly safe to drive a pickup truck on the frozen waters, looking for the right place for a scenic shoot. I trusted him, hoping to overcome the fear and get a great shoot.
And what a shoot! We found the beautiful, wide-open expanse of the frozen lake to be a picture-perfect Canadian setting. Back on the snowy land, we found few birch trees to work with - how more Canadian can you get?
