Our hearts are far apart

A few weeks ago, Caitlin, Matt and I talked about having a fun photo session before Matt left for Afghanistan. Matt is a soldier in the Canadian Army. When he popped the question (and Caitlin said "yes") a few days before we got together, the photo session turned into an engagement shoot. Congratulations, you guys!

Now that he is in Afghanistan, Caitlin says she misses him terribly. "Our hearts are far apart," she wrote in a recent message to me. She said she is counting the days until he returns in March.

Matt, stay safe and we will see you when you get back to Canada.
